Agribusiness Analyst (Graduate / Early Career)
Location – Bendigo, full time
The key purpose of this position is to assist ORM’s Senior Consultants in providing business management, financial performance and strategic direction services and advice to farming businesses across southern Australia.
The role includes:
• Liaising with growers and their advisers to collect data and produce financial tables.
• Supporting Senior Consultants with pre-client meeting preparation and post-client meeting reporting.
• Contributing to the validation and integrity of ORM’s benchmarking database.
• General support of Consulting and Communications teams, especially during peak work periods.
• Assist Finance team with entering information, reception and general office duties.
The role is intended to allow the successful applicant to gain experience and develop their knowledge and skills. Over time there is scope to move into a Consulting role with ongoing guidance from the ORM Consulting team.
Qualifications – Tertiary qualifications in Agriculture, Agribusiness or related field
Experience – Genuine interest in the agricultural industry
Skills Required –
- Strong aptitude in numeracy and analytical skills
- High attention to detail
- Previous experience with Excel
- Ability to prioritise and manage time effectively
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Be self-aware, understanding impact of behaviours on others
