GRDC Grains Research Update Online – Late season update
Join us for this GRDC Grains Research Update Lunchtime livestream exploring late weed control tactics, resistance testing and snail management. A live question and answer session will be included.
Chris Davey – YP Ag and WeedSmart Agronomist
Chris will bring his extensive experience to cover off on late season weed control tactics to tidy up that late ryegrass; target those late germinating broadleaves in cereals. Chris will also explore the growing role of resistance testing as a management tool.
Kym Perry – SARDI Entomology
Mediterranean pest snails continue to spread and cause headaches in affect areas. Kym will highlight the key control strategies and current research working to improve snail management including bait timing and management.
Agronomist panel: Two agronomists from different districts across the Southern Region will join us to provide local context and commentary.
